Requirements:
Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 Standard Time Monday through Friday

Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435 Florida Statutes. The criminal history check must be completed prior to or within the first thirty days of employment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Four years of IT cybersecurity experience with a focus in one or more of the following areas;
- Security and Risk Management
- Asset Security
- Security Architecture and Engineering
- Communication and Network Security
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Security Assessment and Testing
- Security Operations
- Software Development Security
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA Security
- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
- Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configure implement maintain and audit all security platforms and any other related software such as anti-virus routers Anti-SPAM switches intrusion detection or intrusion prevention firewalls cryptography systems SIEM and MDM
- Plan and audit ongoing assessment of antivirus application control firewall SIEM VPN SSL intrusion detection or intrusion prevention and other network component policies
- Ensure network security best practices are executed for network security systems and document all remediations/changes.
- Responsible for periodic vulnerability testing and lead remediation projects
- Audit systems and methodologies as well as reply to security-related events and support in remediation efforts
- Coordinate and oversee log analysis for FWC security systems to ensure policy and security requirements are met
- Work as the local agency security officer (laso) and information security manager
- Work in collaboration with appropriate divisions/offices to ensure users have devices that are fully operational and secure
- Extensive technical know-how of security network devices (switches antivirus firewalls cryptography SIEM) and any other security networking hardware or software tools
- Have a comprehensive understanding and technical know-how in server administration including GPO deployment patching and network device configuration and hardware management (including cable management)
- Work under strict change control processes to ensure only authorized changes are made to devices

- Knowledge of distributed processing operations procedures and equipment.
- Knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
- Knowledge of computers and software.
- Knowledge of systems administration processes tools disciplines and best practices.
- Knowledge of managing and supporting network and cloud computing security.

- Ability to develop training programs related to distributed processing operations and procedures.
- Ability to monitor and resolve problems with distributed computer systems components.
- Ability to work with Windows operating system environments

- Ability to Identify interact and provide high level of service for customers.
- Ability to review understand update and implement technical design documents.
- Ability to manage and support network and cloud security.
- Working Knowledge of Routers Switches Firewalls and cloud computing.

- Skills and Abilities to work with Project Managers to develop project plans and execute implementation plans.
- Skills and Abilities to work with vendors and others to formulate designs and troubleshoot problems.
- Skills and Abilities to develop and documentation of policies procedures standards and guidelines.
