On behalf of our client a well-established wholesale distributor with over 50 years of success in sourcing and supplying high-quality everyday products we are recruiting for a skilled Creative Production Co-ordinator to join their dynamic team in Basildon Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing creative workflows and delivering exceptional artwork for a diverse range of products.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Creative you will be the cornerstone of the creative production process ensuring seamless coordination of artwork projects from concept to delivery. You will manage workflows resources and stakeholder communications to drive efficiency quality and innovation in a fast-paced studio environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the primary point of contact for creative project requests ensuring clear briefs and smooth communication between teams and stakeholders.
Managing daily schedules and resource allocation matching team skills to project needs and anticipating freelance requirements.
Overseeing end-to-end artwork production from brief interrogation to print and delivery ensuring adherence to brand standards and deadlines.
Chairing weekly production meetings recording actions tracking progress and managing stakeholder expectations.
Proof-checking and cross-verifying assets to maintain accuracy and brand consistency.
Liaising with suppliers to secure essential assets and supply approved artwork for production.
Monitoring workflows identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and creativity.
Analysing studio performance metrics such as utilisation and billable hours to optimise profitability.
Coordinating assets for product launches including marketing collateral e-commerce social media and event production.
Proactively identifying risks and resolving issues to keep projects on track.
About You
You are an organised detail-oriented professional with proven experience in creative project or resource management ideally within an in-house studio environment. You thrive under pressure excel at multitasking and are passionate about delivering high-quality creative outputs.
Essential skills and experience:
Proficiency in creative workflow tools (e.g. ClickUp or Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong project management skills with a track record in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional organisational prioritisation and time-management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to quality control and brand accuracy.
Proactive problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to drive process improvements.
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiasm for staying ahead of industry trends and fostering an innovative studio culture.
Experience in allocating resources efficiently to meet project timelines and business needs.
