Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect (JavaScript Java) fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Design and develop software components in JavaScript and Java and work with Oracle databases;
- Perform technical unit tests as well as quality assurance of new modules/developments;
- Follow-up incidents analysis of production issues and elaboration of solutions (third level support and bug fixing for local IT applications);
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing analysis technical documentation deployment evaluation and reporting;
- Production of software architecture documents and review the architecture of existing systems;
- Perform data analysis and data modelling;
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in JavaScript and Frontend development;
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Webservices and Java;
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Oracle relational database;
- Excellent knowledge of interoperability technology (message-oriented middleware service oriented bus event architecture);
- Very good knowledge of Angular Framework;
- Basic understanding of business processes and workflows in the translation area;
- Excellent command of the English language and good understanding of French language.
