A day in the life
As the Head of Enterprise Architecture you will be responsible for overseeing the enterprise architecture function which includes governance solution design application rationalization standards and emerging technologies. In this role you will ensure that architectural initiatives are aligned with strategic objectives and effectively implemented. Your leadership will be crucial in managing cross-functional teams and driving collaboration across departments.

You will develop and implement architectural strategies that enhance governance practices and improve operational efficiency. Collaborating closely with stakeholders you will define architectural objectives scope and deliverables ensuring alignment with business needs and priorities.

In addition to monitoring architectural performance and managing resources you will oversee governance operations ensuring that all EA initiatives are executed smoothly and efficiently. You will also play a key role in change management ensuring that transitions are seamless and that stakeholders are engaged throughout the process.

Mentoring and empowering your team will be essential fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices you will evaluate new tools and methodologies to enhance our architectural capabilities.

  • Architecture Leadership:Proven experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives with a focus on successfully implementing architectural frameworks and governance structures that support large-scale programs and integrations.

  • Architectural Methodologies:Strong knowledge of architectural methodologies and best practices (e.g. TOGAF Zachman Framework) to ensure effective solution design and implementation.

  • Multi-Project Oversight:Ability to manage multiple architectural initiatives simultaneously while ensuring quality and adherence to timelines effectively prioritizing tasks and resources.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Experience in collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively communicating complex architectural concepts and requirements to drive alignment and support.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving organizational change and improvement through effective architectural governance and delivery.

  • Leadership and Communication:Excellent leadership communication mentorship and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve architectural goals.

  • Financial Management:Proven ability to manage budgets related to architectural initiatives ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively to support project objectives and strategic goals.

  • Change Management Expertise:Experience in leading change management initiatives within the architectural domain ensuring stakeholder engagement and smooth transitions during implementation.

  • Operational Efficiency Focus:A commitment to enhancing operational efficiency through the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies in architecture.

These additional qualifications are a plus but not required to apply:

  • Educational Background:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; Masters degree preferred.

  • Experience:15 years of experience in enterprise architecture or related fields with a focus on leadership roles.

  • Relevant Certifications:Certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF Zachman) and project management (e.g. PMP Agile certifications) are advantageous.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $121700 to $212900.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications education and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
