To provide quality professional and profitable after-sales service support to the Emerson customer base in Middle East & Africa for all Emerson Final Control products!
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Service Operations
- Facilitating service center functions including facility maintenance machine shop mechanical assembly and calibration operations.
- Responsible for coordinating and facilitating all in house activities.
- Responsible for engineering including troubleshooting.
- Responsible for maintenance of all materials equipments parts and tools necessary for the day-to-day operations
- Responsible for planning and execution to achieve monthly service center POR.
- Be an authority of any changes as business evolves and assist with implementation as necessary for process improvements.
- Constantly try to improve the companys performance towards higher customer service standards and improve financial performance.
- Support for job costing of all goods and services and preparation of quotes for out-of-scope services.
- Collaborate with product engineers representatives suppliers 3rd party inspection agency and customers to resolve quality issues and any questions that arise.
- Deliver KPIs results in line with the BU objectives including:
- Profit and loss accountability Depot service
- Resources Utilization measurement and optimization
Quality Assurance/Health & Safety
- Responsible for quality control of all work performed and determination of safety codes and engineering standards applicable to repair work performed.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment(s) and adhering to all Emerson / Fisher policies as well as OSHA
- Drive safety improvements plan in respective work area
- Implementation of non-conformance processes corrective actions and preventive action processes.
- Co-ordination of internal quality program customer surveillance third party inspection and regulatory agency audit
- Keep employees advised of changes in work practices.
Employee Relations
- Responsible for employee relations community relations government relations for all locations in their geographical region
- Responsible for all staffing including recruiting and selecting both direct labor and support functions
- Responsible for personal development of existing staff.
- Provide/delegate training and assist in problem solving.
- Maintain employee focus on quality programs.
- Keep employees advised of changes in work practices.
- Collect document and provide feedback to employees on the quality of their workmanship and authorize any rework as deemed necessary to achieve zero defects.
- Provide guidance and feedback to employees on day-to-day job engagement activities or responsibilities to ensure employees maintain focus on productive business tasks.
- Coach and develop Saudi National workforce to an acceptable degree of proficiency.
Who you are
- Knowledge of analyzing evaluating diagnosing and resolving equipment and process related problems is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and customer relations skills are a must.
- Personal Computer experience (business systems SAP Oracle Outlook)
- Outstanding safety and attendance record
For this Role You Will Need:
- Educated to Degree level in mechanical engineering or equivalent industry recognized qualification. 10 Experience in the Control Valve Service Industry with proven track record of turnaround execution and management
- Proven leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience in the process control industry is a plus.
- MEA (specifically Saudi Arabia) experience
