Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Associate - Programs to join our team in Pune. This role is crucial for managing projects from end-to-end focusing on effective collaboration with implementation partners (NGOs and social enterprises). The Associate will be responsible for identifying community needs creating innovative program concepts and ensuring seamless project execution. A strong understanding of monitoring evaluation and reporting processes for social impact projects is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Lead end-to-end program management including strategy design implementation and continuous monitoring of projects.
- Proposal Development: Prepare customized proposals tailored to the requirements of corporates and grant-giving agencies.
- Partner Cultivation: Conduct prospect research to identify cultivate and solicit new project implementation partners.
- Feedback & Improvement: Provide evidence-based timely and constructive feedback to partners.
- Stakeholder Management: Independently manage external stakeholder conversations with both corporate clients and implementation partners.
- Process Optimization: Work within existing processes and systems while actively suggesting constructive improvements.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data and analysis for effective program management and to derive actionable insights.
- Risk & Compliance: Adhere to risk management protocols and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
- Communication: Communicate confidently in a clear concise and articulate manner both verbally and in written form.
- Ethical Conduct: Uphold the firms code of ethics and business conduct at all times.
- Team Support: Support interns and volunteers in field research surveys and developing information on Samhitas verticals.
Qualifications Skills & Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in Rural Development Agriculture or Livelihood sectors.
- Proven experience in program implementation operations and/or management.
- Ability to effectively structure projects/engagements for the team.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated strong project management skills in handling complex multifaceted projects with measurable successes.
- Demonstrated success in developing and evaluating program models and NGOs and in selecting and operationalizing programs.
- Experience in policy-making conceptualizing and implementing programs is preferred.
- Experience engaging with international clients and working in an onsite-offshore environment is preferred.
- Ability to contribute effectively beyond the defined scope of work.
- Demonstrated experience in contributing to firm and knowledge building initiatives.
