Job Description
Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary & Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction maintenance and prefabrication.
We are looking for Apprentices Ironworkers Camp / In-Field with accommodations provided for camp job and flat rate to cover travel - typically covers your preferred method of travel. What were looking for from you If this describes you wed love to meet!
- Journeyman Ironworker Certificate
- WHMIS 2015 CSO Standard First Aid HS2 Alive and Fall Protection
- Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid apprenticeship ticket
- Oil and gas experience preferred not required comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel away from home for extended periods of time
- Oil and gas experience preferred not required
Requirements
- Journeyman Ticket
- H2S Alive
- Intermediate First Aid (Level B and C)
- CSO by Energy Safety Canada
- CSTS by Alberta Construction Safety Association
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection
- D&A
- Fit Testing - Scott AV 3000 and 30 7500 Half Mask and
- Oil and gas experience is preferred but not required.
