JOB TITLE:
House Manager - Music
JOB PURPOSE:
The House Manager role is an important one because they are responsible for the comfort and safety of the audience before during and after a performance. The House Manager is responsible for supervising Front of House and working with the Box Office during an actual production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Checking the house before and after productions;
Audience control;
Assisting in the Box Office (including Will Call assistance the Box Office during the production);
Supervising the ushers;
Seating patrons as needed (especially patrons with ADA needs and the elderly)
Coordinating show start/end and intermissions with the Stage Manager;
Dealing with emergency situations (see separate emergency protocol document).
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED Experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in a customer service
Prior management experience
