Are you passionate about delivering good outcomes for our residents and communities Our strategy for Early Intervention and Prevention is a key priority for Birmingham City Councils improvement journey and we are seeking dynamic and passionate individuals to join our redesigned and transforming Connected Communities team. This role is crucial in delivering the Early Intervention and Prevention strategy through the operational management statutory and legal compliance in line with the 1964 Public Libraries Act of the Community Library locations across the East/West of the City.
We are seeking a dynamic Connected Communities Manager to join our team. You will oversee strategy workforce development legal compliance and service standards. Your role involves the implementation of a new vision for community libraries as places to be at the heart of communities meeting the need and aspirations of residents. With an ability to communicate and promote services you must have a passion for networking attracting and influencing external resources establishing strong community links empowering individuals and engaging with local stakeholders to translate our vision into action.
As the Connected Communities Manager you will lead and manage staff to achieve corporate and service objectives develop and implement the Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) strategy and continuously improve service delivery across the Homes and Money pathway. You will build strategic partnerships to deliver holistic services oversee performance outcomes and use data to inform decision-making. Additionally you will contribute to the development of a quality assurance framework manage the operational effectiveness of the team and ensure compliance with policies.
Youll have strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering the best possible outcomes for citizens.
