We are currently seeking an IT Modern Workplace Engineerto join our growing team.
The Modern Workplace Engineer will provide engineering and third level support for all Microsoft 365 platform and related services (Azure AD Exchange Security Identity Policy SharePoint OneDrive Teams Device Management etc.). A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate technical skills proficiency with the design implementation and support of Microsoft 365 platform services. Assess design and support solutions on the Microsoft 365 platform components.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Related certifications required.
- At least 5-8 years experience in information technology and minimum 3 years experience with specified technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience working in a cloud-based Microsoft and Cisco Meraki environment.
- Experience working in an ITIL environment and understanding of IT Service Management processes and principles.
- Experience with/and troubleshooting knowledge of:
- Deploying supporting and troubleshooting Exchange Azure AD Intune Teams and One Drive.
- Deploying supporting and troubleshooting Modern Authentication and Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
- Azure AD and Conditional Access.
- Microsoft Office 365 Security Center deploying policies and other best practice configurations and reviewing message traces and audit logs.
- Deploying and configuring Teams audio video and telephony solutions as well as integration with Exchange / Office 365 Unified Messaging.
- Able to coordinate and collaborate with business stakeholders and other technology teams to ensure successful upgrades installations and integration activities
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT field.
- Support and maintain Microsoft 365 environment.
- Work with architecture design to implement new solutions and configurations.
- Writing necessary technical documents such as policies processes procedures installation guides how to guides and knowledgebase articles.
- Test document communicate and release changes to the enterprise.
- Work with Security team to monitor evaluate and report system performance and security posture.
- Conduct oneself in a positive professional and supportive manner when engaging with others as a department representative following policies processes and procedures.
- Be a department champion and advocate the team vision mission values and principles.
- Foster and effectively build relationships through communication with 3rd party vendors project stakeholders and all individual areas of the business: team members department and company leadership.
- Act as a mentor for junior members of the team.
- Provide on-call weekend and afterhours coverage.
Physical Requirements:
- Works in an office environment and uses a computer telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
- Noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
- Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
- Regularly required to sit talk or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion handle or feel and to stand walk reach bend or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Up to 10% travel
