The Position:
The Junior School program at Havergal College isdistinguished by opportunities for students to develop and learn in anenvironment that is diverse stimulating and supportive. Teaching facilitiesare well equipped and offer bright technology-rich environments.
Experienced Primary/Junior teachers at HavergalCollege are confident in curriculum development and demonstrate an approach toteaching that is reflective of the way in which girls learn. They support alllearners with diverse strategies and approaches and are willing and able to useappropriate solutions to learning challenges experienced by students. Teachersoptimize the use of the technology to support student learning. Classes areengaging and dynamic and teachers genuinely enjoy what they are doing and areapproachable available knowledgeable genuine and supportive.
As members of the Junior School faculty teachersengage in the work of the Junior School in a collegial and supportive demonstrate an understanding of the importance of parents as partners intheir daughters education by maintaining open and collaborative relationshipswith parents.
