Job Title: Office 365 Administrator

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office 365 Administrator to manage support and optimize our enterprise Microsoft 365 environment across a global user base. This role is responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient operation of Office 365 services including Exchange Online Teams SharePoint Online OneDrive and Azure Active Directory supporting users and offices across multiple countries and time zones.
In addition to managing our cloud collaboration services the Office 365 Administrator will occasionally provide on-site support for regional office initiatives VIP setups migrations and escalation support as needed. This is a hybrid/remote role with a global focus requiring flexibility to support international operations and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Office 365 Administration
Manage and support a global Microsoft 365 tenant including Exchange Online SharePoint Online OneDrive Teams and related services.
Administer Azure AD configurations including SSO MFA group policies and hybrid identity.
Configure and maintain user accounts mail flow rules licensing and distribution groups.
Configure and maintain other collaboration platforms such as Zoom as required.
2. Security & Compliance
Implement and monitor Microsoft 365 security and compliance policies including DLP retention audit logging and Microsoft Purview solutions.
Support incident response related to compromised accounts phishing and data loss risks.
Ensure alignment with international compliance standards (e.g. NIST ISO 27001 GDPR).
3. Collaboration & Governance
Manage Teams policies SharePoint site governance and OneDrive access controls.
Facilitate global collaboration and information sharing through Microsoft 365 tools.
Support training and adoption initiatives for end users and regional IT partners.
4. Global Support & On-Site Duties
Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for Office 365 service issues coordinating with global and regional IT teams.
Provide on-site support as needed for VIP incidents office migrations device setups or project roll outs.
Collaborate with local infrastructure teams to support seamless cloud integration and hybrid operations.
5. Automation & Monitoring
Use PowerShell to automate common tasks and generate reports on user activity license consumption and security alerts.
Monitor Microsoft 365 service health and usage trends across global sites.
Maintain documentation and SOPs for both remote and on-site support functions.
6. Project & Lifecycle Management
Support the rollout of new Office 365 features and capabilities in a global context.
Assist with Microsoft 365 migrations policy updates and lifecycle transitions.
Ensure documentation is updated and accessible to both global and local IT teams.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
3 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 in a multi-site global organization.
Strong expertise in Exchange Online Azure AD SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities.
Preferred Skills
Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent certification.
Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Purview and Endpoint Manager.
Experience working across international IT teams and supporting distributed offices.
Ability to travel and provide on-site support at designated global office locations.
ITIL Foundation certification and experience with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow or ManageEngine.
