Uliza Events offers identification solutions across Africa with active operations in Kenya Uganda Tanzania Rwanda Zambia Ghana and Nigeria. Our clients include corporates malls hotels theme parks and major entertainment events.
As we continue scaling our operations we re hiring a Junior Accountant who brings discipline speed and precision to our finance department. This role is for someone who has experience in filing VAT PAYE SHIF NSSF and Income Tax and thrives in a structured performance-driven environment.
Role Summary
This role will oversee the day-to-day financial records statutory compliance and reporting operations of the business. Youll ensure the company operates with financial clarity zero leakages and 100% compliance. You ll also support multiple branches and report directly to senior management.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
File statutory returns accurately and on time:
Income Tax
VAT
PAYE
NSSF
SHIF
Maintain accurate records for:
Sales (M-PESA cash bank)
Supplier payments & imports
Petty cash & commissions
Payroll and deductions
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance or CPAK (minimum Section 4).
Experience with VAT PAYE SHIF NSSF and tax filing is mandatory.
Proficiency in Zoho Books QuickBooks or Excel.
Fast accurate data entry and strong organizational discipline.
Ability to identify discrepancies reconcile issues and enforce financial accountability.
Previous experience in a multi-branch business or SME environment is an advantage.
