About You
You are a strategic and experienced Project Manager who thrives in dynamic environments. Youre passionate about delivering high-impact solutions leading multidisciplinary teams and building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients. You bring a strong business mindset technical awareness and a people-first leadership approach.
You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 7 years of experience as a Project Manager leading complex initiatives.
- Project management qualification (PMP or equivalent).
- Certification(s) in Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with Agile SAFe frameworks.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams (design development QA DevOps).
- Solid experience in app development projects.
- Experience working with clients in the airline or travel industry is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills: innovative thinking diligence and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Deep understanding of business processes client goals and strategic alignment.
- Residency in Mexico is preferred. If not based in Mexico candidate must be able to travel frequently.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Foster strong relationships with the clients key stakeholders collaborating closely with CRMs to ensure alignment with strategic business goals and identify growth opportunities.
- Plan and monitor project execution with a focus on cadence scope and quality.
- Manage interdependencies across multiple projects ensuring clear communication of deliverables risks and performance indicators to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively manage project risks issues and contingency plans to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor and control project budgets ensuring financial targets are met and corrective actions are taken as needed.
- Understand and manage the project contract including scope control and change order execution.
- Supervise the execution of financials ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Support and develop junior project managers coaching them toward greater effectiveness in their current and future roles.
- Handle client escalations by working together with related areas in order to ensure proper delivery.
