Job Description

As an Inside Sales Engineer you will drive business growth by understanding customer needs providing technical solutions and effectively articulating the value of our products or services. Your role will be pivotal in effectively communicating technical information to customers and helping to develop and maintain relationships to build trust.

What Youll Do

  • Respond to inbound inquiries via phone email and digital channels with prompt and accurate information.
  • Provide technical product recommendations based on customer specifications process requirements and application details.
  • Prepare and follow up on RFQs (requests for quotation) in close coordination with engineering and operations.
  • Collaborate with the external sales team distributors to support project bids lead qualification and application support.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems ensuring timely updates on quotes customer communications and sales pipeline activities.
  • Manage order processing from order entry to shipment coordination ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Confirm pricing lead times and product configurations interfacing with production planning and product teams.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between customers and internal departments (engineering product management manufacturing quality assurance).
  • Proactively handle inquiries related to order status delivery timelines documentation requests and post-sale technical support.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or non-conformances in a professional and timely manner.

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Mechatronics Chemical Instrumentation) Applied Sciences Physics or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in inside sales customer service or technical support preferably in the instrumentation process control or manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with flow measurement fluid handling systems or process automation technologies is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in ERP and CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce); experience with quoting or order management tools a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • High attention to detail organizational discipline and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time-sensitive conditions.
