Description
OVERVIEW:
- Administers human resources business and financial operations for a department division or school.
- Creates implements evaluates and revises budgets accounts policies and procedures relating to operational activities in the areas of: human resources facilities management and research.
- Assists in coordinating providing input for monitoring and improving the human resources and business operational activities.
- Assists in planning implementing and evaluating a variety of activities and special projects affecting areas operations.
- Prepares or assists in preparing departmental budgets and forecasts of future budget requirements.
- May ensure that awarded grants conform to defined budget parameters.
- Negotiates new and renewal contracts with vendors.
- Directs logistical and clerical support activities and coordinates specific data collection efforts and special projects. Designs and generates reports. May supervise staff.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelors degree in business finance or related field.
- Three years of professional business or management experience.
- Some positions in this classification may require previous supervisory experience.
