The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for ensuring the successful planning execution and delivery of complex technical initiatives. This position requires a strong technical background a deep understanding of system architecture and the ability to effectively collaborate across functions to achieve impactful outcomes. The TPM transforms product plans into technology requirements for services determining which resources will be required to deliver initiatives on the product roadmap and then aligning those to various workstreams in the program. The TPM is accountable for program management throughout the entire lifecycle including analysis design development testing implementation and post-implementation phases. The TPM is accountable for on-time delivery of milestones identifying and mitigating risk adherence to service architecture requirements quality and ultimately ensuring that the overall technical solution achieves the intended business outcomes.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

  • Managingthe lifecycle of complex cross-functional product initiatives. Unblocking teams and increase the speed of delivery. Negotiating resources and priorities and escalate effectively.
  • Coordinatingprogram execution across impacted cross-functional federated teams (Data & Analytics UX/UI DevSecOps Architecture / Infrastructure) and ensuringthat everyone is aligned towards common objectives resulting in ongoing alignment of milestones deliverables and dependencies so that issues are found early and solved reducing risk to delivery dates
  • Confirmingalignment of project goals with business objectives; establish communication cadence with stakeholders to secure necessary resources and support
  • Partnering closely with tech leads to bridge the business needs with the technical challenges to help balance time-to-market with quality reliability security and scalability
  • Establishing overarching program-level governance to ensure alignment across projects and promote effective coordination; including success metrics technical standards defining authority levels and establishing communication channels among project teams
  • Proactively identifying potential technical and operational risks develop mitigation strategies
  • Communicatingideas effectively verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences including Directors and VPs. Fostering a constructive dialogue harmonize discordant views and leading the resolution of contentious issues (build consensus). Partnering successfully with customers Product owners other stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Other duties as assigned

YOUVE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

7 years of software development or architecture experience

7 years of experience in a software defined infrastructure (SDi SDDC SDE) environment preferably architecting IaaS SaaS PaaS offerings

5 years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams

Bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering or a related technical or business field

Experience in a similar role in a SaaS Product organization

Project Management - Ability to plan execute and oversee projects to achieve specific goals within set constraints such as time cost and scope

Business Process Improvement - Ability to analyze design and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency effectiveness and value creation

Change Management - ability to analyze design and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency effectiveness and value creation

Systemic Thinking - ability to understand and analyze the interconnectedness and interdependencies within a whole system recognizing how individual components and their interactions impact the entire system

Communication - skills and abilities necessary to effectively convey and exchange information ideas and feelings between individuals or groups using various verbal and non-verbal methods to deliver messages clearly accurately and appropriately while also actively listening and understanding the messages received.

IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

Broad knowledge of build integration deployment and provisioning of cloud services; primarily MS Azure and Google Cloud

Advanced understanding of SaaS applications and cloud-native architectures

Experience with Modern front-end frameworks responsive web designs C# Java Structured and Unstructured databases Datawarehouse and large-scale analytics.

Expertise in multiple version control systems (Git GitHub Bitbucket etc.) and Cloud Foundry development

Experience with configuration management systems (Chef Puppet BOSH)

Experience with APIs Service bus and other integration technologies

You would be expected to work in our Morrisville NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
