Salem High School will be implementing three district common assessments for ELA in 25-26 in 9th grade and 10th grade. These assessments will be based on the themes and priority standards from the ODell curriculum units. Teachers on this task force will create ELA DCAs by selecting thematically aligned paired texts and crafting MCAS style standards aligned multiple choice and short answer questions. Teachers on this task force will also add the DCAs to Pear Assessment so that they can be published in the district collection.
