Employee Development Strategy Manager

The Boeing Company is looking for an Employee Development Strategy Manager to join our team in Everett WA Renton WA Seattle WA Huntsville AL or Berkeley MO

This position offers an opportunity to be part of the Production System Training team which trains Boeing teammates worldwide. The manager will supervise teams focused on developing our learning and development production strategy based on performance metrics.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Boeing value system by embodying the principles of integrity quality and safety in all training and development initiatives.
  • Manage professional-level learning and development specialists who shape the training eco-system by leading critical strategy integration and performance processes and metrics in support of the production system.
  • Identify and oversee strategic enterprise-wide projects enabling optimized production training.
  • Ensure adequate resources are available to meet PST business needs related to performance data and project execution.
  • Facilitate communication between various functions driving a cohesive approach to training and development support.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reports on training program effectiveness and recommendations for continuous improvement to leadership.
  • Partner with other training teams and organizations to provide business operations expertise in support of certifications and production training analytics.
  • Provide business reporting to executive and senior leadership related to the PST statements of work.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology within the training system and incorporate into organizational strategy.
  • Promote employee recognition and build a departmental culture that enhances employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Acknowledge the contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Quarterly travel to domestic Boeing sites.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience managing large-scale projects
  • 3 years of experience advising business clients
  • 3 years of experience simultaneously managing multiple projects prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • 3 years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of large-scale project leadership experience
  • 5 years of business facing roles or work as a business leader
  • Agile project management or Lean experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in aligning learning strategy with business strategy to drive the highest level of organizational performance
