Overview

Maintenance Planner - HIRING IMMEDIATELY - Corsicana TX

Maintenance Planner

Hours: Days 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay rate range $33 to $42/hr - paid weekly

Responsibilities

Summary: Under supervision is responsible for Maintenance work plans and schedules including repairs preventative maintenance and shutdown work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare schedules based on the directions of the Engineering Manager
  • Determine the material and tools/equipment requirements
  • Insure Maintenance Planning/Scheduling needs are completed coordinated and communicated within all functional areas including contractor & vendor management.
  • Verify availability of required materials before scheduling work orders
  • Create purchase orders for materials and replacement parts
  • Track status of parts and change status of work schedules based on parts availability
  • Maintain and manage preventative maintenance system schedule
  • Maintain file system
  • Drive to other facilities or vendors for emergency parts pickup
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Competencies:

  • Strong background in reliability
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with background in reliability.
  • Customer service focus
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects with competing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with personnel of various levels

Education/Experience:

  • Associates degree or minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance or materials management
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read and write fluently in English
  • Mathematical Skills: Must be extremely accurate with numbers. Ability to add subtracts multiply and divides; use common fractions and decimals.

Computer Skills:

  • MS Excel/Access/Word/SAP.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a CMMS such as Maintenance Connection MP2 Maximo etc. is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with an SAP is preferred.
