Job Description
Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our long-term clients team at (1) property in St. Cloud MN (56304). The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in residential maintenance have experience with unit turns have knowledge of basic maintenance be self-motivated be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. This role is contracted and expected to go 30-90 days or can go contract to hire with the right candidate.
This role will be working with (1) community that was built inunits/4 stories.
Salary: targeting $25-$28/hour DOQ. This role is contracted and expected to go 30-90 days or can go contract to hire with the right candidate.
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM - with occasional weekends as needed.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks windows floors and other parts of the building.
- Maintains the grounds assigned which may include trash pick-up shoveling and sweeping curb/dumpster area maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
- Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
- Install repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
- Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer dryer refrigerator stove microwave dishwashers etc.).
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues diagnose problems replace and/or repair parts test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
- Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains repair/replace leaking faucets remove/replace caulking replace different components of toilets adjust/replace door closures and replace locks deadbolts and passage locks.
- Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years experience in residential maintenance multifamily experience is required.
- Preventative maintenance and completing work order experience is required.
- Unit turn experience is required.
- Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check.
- Have a valid drivers license and valid auto insurance.
