DescriptionIT Onsite Support
This role covers a coordination of tasks which are handled within the IT Helpdesk and IT field engineering scope of the European IT domain and assigning those to the appropriate technical professional or service personnel.
Working hours:
- Regular office hours Monday to Friday Onsite at our office in Lodz Poland.
- Occasional planned / unplanned outside office hours support is required at different office locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Executing white glove tasks for Senior Management
- Relocation of desktop computers monitors peripherals
- Physically assisting remote server and network teams with onsite support in Data Centres IDF / Comms rooms
- Support for severity 1 and 2 escalations related to onsite issues
- Project based IT activities
- Remote IT Support as part of the 1st/2nd level virtual service desk team
- Platform support/SME as part of a virtual global IT team
- Use of Microsoft Intune
- Support IT audits related to daily work activities
- Work with IT Ticketing platform
- Assist with server decommissioning and removal tasks
- Document IT procedures
General responsibilities:
- IT Desktop coordination of profiles and procedure standardisation
- PC user support
- Receive and prioritise issues and forward using appropriate escalation procedures
- Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems when they relate to personal computers
- Provide technical on-site maintenance and support for new and existing systems
- Troubleshoot via the phone hardware software and network operating problems and involve technical resources to ensure resolution
- Identify investigate and research user questions and problems as well as isolate and resolve information systems problems
- Collaboration with other IT department branches from Europe and/or Globally
- This job may include any aspect of on-site support and is not limited to system hardware and software PCs and IP networking
We are looking for candidates with:
- Excellent English language skills both oral and written
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server environment and Active Directory structure
- Experience with End-User IT support
Understanding and knowledge of information systems products and services to assist users - Ability to self-organised work based on priority; within a small group of team members
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11
