Title: Clinical Research Project Manager
Worksites: 9500 Euclid Avenue Cleveland OH 44195 Hybrid position with some telecommuting permitted.
Duties: The Clinical Research Project Manager at Cleveland Clinics Main Campus (9500 Euclid Avenue Cleveland Ohio 44195) oversees administrative functions of research trials and manages a clinical trials team including external industry team members statisticians and researchers. In coordination with the Principal Investigator he or she manages clinical human subject research studies regarding mitigating activities for at-risk older adults for Alzheimers and other progressive diseases. The Clinical Research Project Manager facilitates trial communications serving as liaison between Principal Investigator sponsors patients clinical team and other members of the research team; provides a clinical perspective on design and conduct of clinical trials; and assists with grant development management and follow-up; to include grant writing and submission budget development and annual progress reporting to the sponsors and/or key stake holders. Responsibilities include developing preparing reviewing and approving research protocols case reports and regulatory documents and other materials needed to comply with Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and Federal Drug Administration (FDA) procedures; communicating with institutional and central IRBs FDA and other relevant parties regarding protocol safety and compliance; analyzing clinical site strengths and weaknesses related to the intended protocol and selection of qualified participants; recruiting human subject research participants; and participating in the development implementation and evaluation of trial strategies in coordination with investigators. This is a hybrid position with some telecommuting permitted.
Requirements: At a minimum the position requires a Bachelors Degree in Nursing Public Health or other health care related discipline or foreign equivalent as evidenced by a credentials evaluation and three (3) years of experience as a patient-facing Research Coordinator or Research Program Manager for clinical human subject research. Experience to include pre- and post- grants management experience (grant writing and submission budget development and annual progress reporting) and administrative/regulatory management experience. Masters Degree in Nursing Public Health or other health care related discipline or foreign equivalent as evidenced by a credentials evaluation to offset two (2) years of the stated experience requirement.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($84698.00 annually)
