We are looking for a Controlling Intern to assist our finance team with journal entries account reconciliations and financial reporting.
This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting processes making it an excellent opportunity to develop professional skills in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledgerReconcile bank statements accounts payable/receivable and other ledger accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist in financial audits by gathering and organizing supporting documents
- Analyze general ledger accounts and report discrepancies to senior accountants
- Participate in process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures
- Perform other accounting-related administrative tasks as needed.
If you join us you will need:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
