JOB SUMMARY:
The intern will assist with the creation development and execution of Digital and Physical scripts treatments show reference guides and presentation materials. The intern will collaborate with project creative leadership to help direct creative design intent to meet project creative business technical
and operational objectives. Learn to bring the creative directors vision to life through brainstorms and the written narratives depicting the creative intent of the project.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews narrative design documents created within the department.
- Analyzes existing ride data within existing parks to determine trends and troubleshooting.
- Attends meetings.
- Completes tasks as required to move project phase forward.
- Provides peripheral support in daily tasks for the current project phases including editing materials and/or adjusting narrative to better suit overall arc.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Themed Entertainment Degree English Creative Writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite required.
- Preferred proficiency with Keynote and/or PowerPoint
- Relevant Themed Entertainment experience- In-park work experience considered a bonus.

- This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
