Job Description
Weinberg Intensive Care Unit(WICU) Weinberg 3Ais a 20 bed Adult Surgical/Oncology intensive care unit. This unit is grounded in teamwork as well as Patient and Family Centered Care. The WICU has won theAACN Beacon Awardand is also recognized by the SCCM for theFamily Centered Care Innovation Award.
TheAdvanced Practice Provider APP (Acute Care NP or Physician Assistant)practices within the guidelines of the unit department and institution and in accordance with the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Written Agreement required and approved by the State of Maryland.
Shifts:3 per week 13.5 hour day / evening / night rotating shifts; some weekend work required
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant PA program or MSN DNP asan Acute Care NP.
- National Certification as a PAor APRN.
- Licensure as a PAor APRN in the state of Maryland or Compact RN and CRNP licenseare required.
- Minimum of two years of APP ICU experience in a similaracute care hospital. Will consider PAs who were in a Critical Care Residency. New grad. NPs with ICU RN experience will be considered.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills with a commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted

Salary Range: Minimum$53.15/hour - Maximum$82.38/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
