We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive AGM/GM Finance & Accounts to lead and manage the finance and accounting function. This individual will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity statutory compliance and strategic financial planning while acting as a trusted advisor to the executive team.
NOTE: This role is for UTS which is a subsidiary company of Zen Technologies Limited
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Lead the finance and accounts team to ensure timely accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure full adherence to IND AS Indian GAAP and all relevant regulatory and statutory frameworks.
- Audit Management: Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits ensuring transparency and readiness.
- Internal Controls: Establish implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Strategic Planning: Drive budgeting forecasting and financial modelling processes aligned with business goals.
- Performance Improvement: Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.
- Risk & Regulatory Management: Monitor and respond to changes in financial regulations ensuring organizational compliance at all times.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead mentor and upskill a team of 3 5 finance and accounting professionals fostering a culture of accountability learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or similar professional degrees in Finance & Accounting
- Industry: Strong experience in the manufacturing sector is essential
- Experience: 12 15 years of progressive finance experience including at least 5 years in a leadership role in a listed company
- Technical Expertise:
o Accounts finalization for quarterly and annual financial reporting audit and regulatory compliance
o Experience in financial consolidation and reporting to a parent company (preferably listed company)
o In-depth costing experience within a manufacturing environment
o Hands-on inventory management and throughput analysis
o Budgeting financial planning and performance tracking
o Monthly MIS/management reporting and cost control mechanisms
o Hands-on knowledge of Indian regulatory and tax frameworks
o Proven ability to drive operational excellence through financial insights and process improvements
o Proven ability to build a collaborative high-performance team culture
