Production Supervisor 2nd & 3rd Shift
Location: Waterloo IA
Salary: $75000 $85000 per year (based on experience)
Shifts Available: 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift
Job Type: Full-time On-site
About the Role
Were seeking experienced Production Supervisors to lead our 2nd or 3rd shift manufacturing teams in Waterloo. In this hands-on role youll oversee production workflows coach team members ensure safety compliance and maintain quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations and shift personnel
- Schedule assign and monitor work to meet production goals
- Spend approximately 50% of your time on the production floor in a hands-on capacity
- Train coach and evaluate team members for performance and development
- Ensure quality control and resolve issues as they arise
- Monitor workflow resources and materials to ensure optimal efficiency
- Promote and enforce safety protocols and company policies
- Maintain shift reports and analyze performance data
- Foster collaboration across departments to meet production targets
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve and resolve functional issues in real-time
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office familiarity preferred
- Valid drivers license required
- Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift
