You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Kinesiology and Health Science Department (KHS) at Utah State University (USU) is seeking to hire a qualified and motivated Lifetime Activity Program Assistant (Program Assistant II) to provide vital administrative support for the Lifetime Activity Program (LAP) and assist with broader departmental operations. This role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a dynamic student-centered environment.
The LAP is a well-established program offering over 68 different one-credit physical activity courses each semester to promote lifelong wellness and physical fitness among students. Serving up to 5000 USU students per semester the program supports the development of physical social and emotional well-being and is a foundational part of the departments mission to enhance student health and wellness through active living.
Under the direction of the LAP Director this position will assist with instructor coordination student communication program logistics enrollment tracking and recruitment and marketing efforts specific to the LAP. The assistant will also support department-wide operations by coordinating academic course scheduling managing course evaluations and serving as the front desk contact for students faculty and visitors under the guidance of a senior staff member in the department.
This is a part-time (30 hours/week) non-exempt benefits-eligible position that is fully in-person; remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.
