Job Description

Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: The Instructor assists with Supported Employment through the OVR program for the summer program. Daytime hours are required to support youth during the summer work programming.

  • Instructor will contact and meet with area employers to establish relationships.
  • Develop supportive relationships with participants.
  • Help prepare employment proposals and negotiate job opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance.
  • Assist with development of job readiness skills and interviewing skills.

This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.

Hourly Rate: $30 per hour face-to-face and $16.00 per hour non-face to face

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree is preferred. High School or GED required with minimum one year of paid experience working with young adults.
  • Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
  • Experience working with at risk youth and families as well as employers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage.
  • Bilingual/Spanish Speaking Candidates a plus.
