As part of our commitment to First Nations employment we will be holding an Assessment Centre designed specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates supported by our TRECCA (Traditional Owner Engagement Cultural Capability & Awareness) team. This culturally inclusive and supportive process will help you feel confident informed and ready to take on your new role with Ventia.

About the Role

As a Road Maintenance Trainee youll play an important role in day-to-day civil operations on our road maintenance contracts including general labouring performing routine maintenance (e.g. fixing potholes) road rehabilitation setting up environmental controls and civil works.

Who Were Looking For

  • Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Holds a manual drivers licence (C Class or higher) and a Construction White Card
  • Comfortable with outdoor physical work
