About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join ALM as a Retail Development Specialist. The role of Retail Development Specialist is responsible for delivering Metcashs Best Store In Town Strategy. This entails executing the instore development and redevelopment of IBA Stores within VIC. Your ability to negotiate and liaise with third party tradespeople along with your commercial and project management ability will be integral to your achievement.

In this Role

• Manage the store new development process within the IBA customer base within VIC
• Deliver budgeted refurbishments within the agreed timeframes and budgets
• Deliver genuine best in class retail layouts and innovation
• Communicate frequently / progress reporting with all key internal and external stakeholders
• Work closely with suppliers / retailers to ensure professional execution of developments
• Work with BDM team to prospect future greenfield and suitable development sites

Youre Likely a Match If

• Proven experience in Project Management and managing customers / suppliers
• Sound knowledge of the retail Liquor channel and broader retail market
• Effective communicator
• People Management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to quickly forge mutually beneficial working relationships
• Ideally some experience in retail fit out / merchandising
