Job Description

Were seeking an organized and highly motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. Responsibilities include managing client communications renewals and nurturing key relationships; managing all necessary documentation; and paying close attention to policy changes important deadlines and legal regulations. You will help customers understand their coverage assist with claims conduct account reviews identify opportunities to add additional lines of coverage and help insureds with their growing portfolio of assets.

What You Will Be Doing And Maybe More:

  • Start your day with a Team Huddle. This sets the tone for the day. Here you will share what your agenda is for the day how you lived out a company Core Value the prior day and what your Top Priority for the Day is.
  • Communicating with existing clients via email phone and text. Youll answer questions about coverage limits claims and maybe even random things like their favorite color or the weather. Its okay to ask the client about their day and whats going on in their life while youre helping them. Caring for others and being relational are essential.
  • Youll assist with updates to policies. For example someone may buy a new home purchase a new car or need to add a teen driver. Your role is to assist them in making changes and provide guidance on their plan with us. Our Brand Promise is Its Taken Care Of. And we count on you to ensure this is delivered to our insureds.
  • Following up when a client has a claim is an integral part of this role. Letting clients know you are here for them and that you want to ensure they are taken care of makes a significant difference.
  • Helping existing clients understand their renewal pricing changes and updates is part of this role. This is where knowing your stuff is important. Insurance can be confusing to some so we want to make sure we explain with a smile and give empathy if they are not sure of whats going on.
  • Candidatemust have 3 years experience in the Insurance Industry and experience in the IA Channel is highly desired.
  • Compensation is based on proven skills as an Account Manager in the IA channel and years of experience.
