Job Description

IRUBIS GmbH is a life science tools startup that pioneers real-time bioprocess analytics with mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. Our mission is to revolutionize bioprocess monitoring and control with innovative and user-friendly tools enabling the next generation of biopharmaceutical production. To strengthen our sales efforts across Europe we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team.

Tasks

  • Drive direct sales of IRUBIS solutions to large biopharma and biotech companies across Europe
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Understand customer needs and provide expert consultation on MIR spectroscopy applications in bioprocess monitoring
  • Lead product demonstrations customer trials and support the implementation process
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing application and product teams to align on customer feedback and market trends
  • Represent IRUBIS at international trade fairs industry events and conferences
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the companys growth strategy in the European market
  • Supporting our research and development team in optimizing the design and functions of our Monipa analyzer

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience ideally selling to large biopharma or biotech companies
  • Strong scientific background (e.g. degree in biotechnology chemistry life sciences or a related field)
  • Practical experience with optical spectroscopy is highly desirable
  • Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced dynamic environments is a plus
  • Self-driven and structured working style with a strong ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • High willingness to travel internationally within Europe (up to 70%)
