Job Description

Insurance Administrator

Location: Scottsdale AZ

Salary: $65000 - $75000 full benefits

Our client isa fintech company transforming how spirits are valued traded and managed. By integrating cutting-edge technology finance and real-time market intelligence compliance and verification they provide the infrastructure for seamless transactions and transparent pricing in an industry traditionally constrained by manual processes and illiquid assets.

They have created the first digital marketplace for barrel-aged spirits designed to bring liquidity pricing intelligence and frictionless transactions to distilleries investors and institutions. The platform facilitates trading across whiskey bourbon tequila neutral grain spirits and casks from across the globe while offering additional services like cooperage insurance and consulting.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our company is currently experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to take on the role of Insurance Administrator. This individual will report directly to the CEO and work to manage various tasks and projects from conception to completion. This Administrator will be assisting the CEO in addition to other management. In general this Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining insurance policies processing claims and assisting clients with their insurance needs The ideal individual will effectively exercise good judgment in a professional atmosphere with strong written and verbal communication administrative and organizational skills and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Policy Management: Reviewing updating and ensuring compliance with insurance policies.
  • Claims Processing: Handling new claims logging data and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Risk Management: Developing and implementing risk management policies.
  • Client Support: Assisting clients with policy selection answering questions and providing claim updates.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of insurance policies and claims.
  • Data Management: Utilizing insurance software systems to manage data effectively.
  • Collaboration: Working with other teams like underwriters claims adjusters and sales representatives.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handling paperwork filing official documents and managing property inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and Power Point)
  • Eager and willing to take on any task and run with it.
  • Highly organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with executives stakeholders employees and external representatives
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong multi-tasking skills with the flexibility to handle quickly-changing priorities and able to communicate changes with sensitivity
  • Previous experience working a fast-paced time-sensitive highly confidential environment where there are continually changing priorities; able to make independent sound judgments in high-stakes situations
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as an insurance administrator
