Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

With extremely successful launch of Vyndaqel/Vyndamax for the treatment of patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) Pfizer cemented its position as a global leader in the field of ATTR-amyloidosis.

Vyndamax/Vyndaqel represents US Commercial priority brands the anchor brand for the Rare Disease BU. This an exciting opportunity to join Vyndamax at the crucial midpoint of its lifecycle as we enter a new dynamic and highly competitive landscape. As a leader in ATTR CM the Vyndamax team is deeply dedicated to overcoming the challenges faced across the patient journey and this role specifically focuses on the unique challenges faced by HCPs and offices as rare cardiology patients enter the post-Rx pathway. Rarely has there been an opportunity in a single market to help so many patients with so much at stake and so many challenges to start and stay on therapy.

The Vyndamax Customer Facing Access Lead is a critical leader focused on the Post-Rx customer journey leading a team of 3 direct reports to:

  • Continue to understand and address customer needs in the post-Rx pathway
  • Offer innovative solutions to facilitate access to valued medicines
  • Own the strategic direction of our full suite of customer facing access resources
  • Act as the headquarters partner to our FAS Leadership and CFC team (30 Customer Facing Colleagues)
  • Lead strategy and tactics to optimize Adherence and Retention across professional channels
  • This role requires an experienced colleague with extensive US specialty marketing experience and a passion for the patient journey post treatment choice. This role will lead a team of marketers along with a broad cross-functional team focused on the success of the Vyndamax post-Rx pathway.
  • This position reports to the US Vyndamax Marketing HCP Team Lead.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Act as the commercial leader leading strategic oversight of full patient journey post point of Vyndamax treatment choice across HCP related stakeholders.
  • Design field strategy to pull through favorable payer coverage and manage agency to develop best in class materials in a highly competitive environment
  • Manage 3 direct reports focused on customer facing access strategies and tactics including: Leading execution across both Sales and FAS organizations (resources call guides and training) Manage creative campaign and messaging about Vyndamax access and affordability to providers and offices and Lead promotion of Co-Pay Savings and Cover My Meds Program
  • Innovate and advance novel adherence initiatives in partnership with Access team.
  • Lead to provide support educational materials and access training for a variety of teams including Field Reimbursement Key Account Management Sales and Medical
  • Cocreate to quarterly POA imperatives and agendas
  • Serve as Marketing Manager for RC / GCMA review of all customer facing access tactics
  • Lead team of Vyndamax marketers to enable appropriate education and compliance of C&C tactics.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional team members including Medical Legal IIS PHI Health and Economic Outcomes Research Corporate Affairs Communications
  • Be a team player be patient-obsessed and focused on Pfizer values: Courage Excellence Equity and Joy by fostering innovation customer focus personal accountability and a commitment for results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 8 years healthcare industry experience
  • Substantial brand planning / brand strategy development experience
  • Specialty experience required
  • High scientific aptitude with a demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate emerging data in a new and rapidly evolving therapeutic area (ATTR-CM)
  • Prior experience in Rare Disease is a plus but not required.
  • Proven ability to proactively lead the thinking - connect communicate influence and persuade.
  • Successful track record of delivering commercial growth and driving performance through teams.
  • Ability to liaise with many different functions and colleagues and lead by influence effectively to implement strategies with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills including capabilities for uncovering deep customer insights and acting upon customer needs.
  • Market research experience or significant engagement with market research in numerous projects.
  • Experience representing opportunities and brand plans to senior leadership.
  • Hands-on experience leading communication platforms managing agencies and/or other related projects.
  • Experience interfacing/collaborating with Regulatory Medical Legal and other functions.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Position requires domestic travel up to 25% of time (POAs Sales and FAS Leadership meetings team meetings ad boards/research)
  • NYHQ is preferred. If Collegeville based must be able to travel to NYHQ 1-2 days per week

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $182000.00 to $303300.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
