You wont be inheriting Dereks old data pipelines.


No not Susans S3 buckets either.

And you wont have to endure Alans future of AI monologues.

This is a creative SaaS-style environment with around 200 people globally.

Their platform hosts hundreds of thousands of proprietary content assets and theyre ready to do more with their data.

Youll be their first dedicated Data Engineersetting the foundations for what great looks like.

Until now software engineers have been patching things together. Thats workedfor a while.

But now theres a significant two-year slate of work across infrastructure analytics and data products.

Thats where you come in.

Theyre also hiring an AI Engineer to drive ML strategy and with a small team youll be plugged into that side of the business too.

Your first mission: stabilize and evolve the AWS-based data warehouse to power financial reporting and analyticsdirectly supporting the CFO.

Your toolbox might include:
Python SQL DBT
Redshift Glue S3
Airflow (or similar orchestration tools)

What theyre looking for:
A stable resume
5 years in Data Engineering (Python SQL)
Depth in both foundational and modern data engineering techniques

They run a hybrid setup and need someone Sydney-based (office in Surry Hills).

Expect to join in-person sessions a few times each month for whiteboarding and collaboration.
