Join Our Team as a Beverage Host/Hostess at Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel!
Are you a friendly energetic individual who enjoys providing outstanding guest service Were looking for a Beverage Host/Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team and help create memorable experiences for our guests. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working with people this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What Youll Do:
- Guest Service: Greet guests with a smile and upbeat attitude while serving complimentary beverages.
- Station Maintenance: Clean and maintain beverage stations host/hostess areas and BIB rooms throughout your shift.
- Stocking: Ensure beverage stations are fully stocked and communicate with supervisors for reordering.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members across departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Promote a clean safe and healthy work environment for guests and employees.
- Guest Awareness: Stay informed about current services promotions and events at the Casino Hotel.
- Professionalism: Provide prompt courteous service and report guest feedback to supervisors.
- Compliance: Follow all safety security and confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Additional Duties: Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
What Were Looking For:
Education & Experience:
- G4 G5 / S13 DOE: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Six (6) months or more experience in food and beverage retail or a similar role preferred.
- Or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a background investigation and drug/alcohol screening.
- Must obtain and maintain Food Handlers and TIPs certification within 90 days of employment.
Physical Demands:
- Mobility: Ability to stand for long periods (610 hours) walk sit and use hands and arms.
- Lifting: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 5075 lbs (team lift required for items over 50 lbs).
- Vision: Close distance color peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
- Public Setting: Work in a public environment with exposure to tobacco smoke airborne particles and mechanical parts.
- Noise Level: Moderate to loud especially on the casino floor.
- Equipment Use: Use standard equipment such as beverage dispensers and cleaning tools.
