Job Description
Staff Management Group is seeking a Shipping Clerk for our client in Burlington NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 8:30AM - 5PM
Pay Rate:
- $17 / hour
Job Summary:
A Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments ensuring accurate tracking and timely delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments
- Verify and label packages accurately
- Generate shipping documents and maintain shipment records
- Communicate with carriers and schedule pick-ups
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping area
- Assist with inventory control and other warehouse tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Must be bilingual - English AND Spanish
- Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
