The Shipping Clerk plays a key role in warehouse operations by overseeing the preparation and shipment of goods. This position ensures that all outgoing deliveries are handled accurately efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include packaging shipments coordinating with internal departments and carriers maintaining organized storage areas and upholding safety standards. While this role currently focuses solely on shipping receiving duties may be added in the future as business needs evolve.
Essential Functions:

- Prepare package and ship outgoing orders according to schedule.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal teams to resolve issues or delays.
- Label tag and organize products for easy identification and retrieval.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shipping area.
- Safely operate forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
Competencies:
- Proficiency with ERP/inventory systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite).
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and accuracy in documentation.
- Basic computer literacy and communication skills.
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities)
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required: 1 year of experience in a shipping or warehouse role preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
- Preferred: Previous experience in inventory management warehouse or retail environment.
- 3 years of experience in inventory control warehouse operations or materials management.
