Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our Rochester NY facility.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards subassemblies or end products.
- Will be using a variety of test equipment and logging information in technical databases.
- Basic troubleshooting.
- Fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.
- Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of technician or troubleshooting experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Currently enrolled in an electrical technician degree program.
- Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory.
- Associates degree (technical discipline).
- Electronics / RF Troubleshooting Experience.
- Experience with Harris RFCD products and assembly processes.
- Able to perform LabVIEW driven automated tests.
- Familiar with basic test equipment i.e. Signal generators oscilloscopes power meters spectrum analyzers.
- Able to read and understand schematic diagrams.
- MS Office programs such as Word Excel and Outlook.
- Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel (Unicam knowledge a plus).
- Willingness to work and learn in fast-paced production environment.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado State Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota Vermont and New York State IS $44500 - $56700. For California Seattle Washington D.C. Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area the city of Denver Washington State and New York City the salary range for this role is $48500 - $64500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
