Scope
Join a dynamic team that produces over 350 sold group travel programs annually. In this role youll craft compelling copy that brings each travel experience to life while strategically managing your time and resources within a defined labor budget. Your work directly supports operational excellence by ensuring each project is delivered efficiently creatively and on schedule.
Reporting and Working Relationships
Reports to Manager Creative Communications. Interacts routinely with all Creative Communications team Operations team members as well as Event Registration Solutions team.
Primary Responsibilities
80%-WRITING & PRODUCTION:
Develop and proofread all written materials to ensure accuracy and consistency with brand and departmental standards.
Collaborate with third-party vendors to guide layout and design of communication pieces.
Support internal teams with creative content solutions across print and digital platforms.
Maintain budget awareness by planning effectively minimizing errors and managing resources wisely.
Participate in team and custom project meetings to align on creative direction and execution.
20%-TRAINING:
Train and guide Meeting & Event Managers on pre-trip communication processes including both print and web deliverables.
Assist in onboarding and mentoring new writers sharing best practices and ensuring consistency in quality and process adherence.
Serve as a go-to contact for workflow-related questions helping to streamline collaboration across teams.
Qualifications
1. B.A. in Journalism Communications or English Literature degree highly preferred.
2. Minimum 2 years equivalent professional/business writing experience.
3. Proven administrative and organizational skills.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Prior experience in or knowledge of the printing industry desired.
