The Project Manager is responsible for the overall execution of project to Customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. He/She is accountable from the signing of the contract to the finalization of all of GE Vernovas contractual obligations.

Roles and Responsibilities
- First and primary customer contact
- Accountable for EHS of the project within the contractual obligations
- Full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility of the project
- Manages multiple stakeholders to ensure project completion (partner contractors customer)
- Early development of execution strategy with Inquiry To Order (ITO) Commercial manager and ensure successful transition of the project
- Develops and manages the risk register with mitigation action
- Timely elevation of issues through Daily management
- Continuous Risk & Opportunities register maintenance and mitigation actions
- Contract flip page with the project team to ensure all requirements are understood and aligned
- Understand and drive and keep accountable the project team to own main performance target i.e. Revenue Cost Margin cash
- Align the project team when conflicting requirements arise (cost vs schedule cost vs risk...)
- Support Functional project managers in escalation within project (across functions with Customer with Partner)
- Understand the Performance risk ahead of time (not only at the end of the project when official PT are run) and partner with Performance engineering team to mitigate the risks
- In certain cases might lead country level activities spanning multiple smaller projects /sites with small number of PMs potentially reporting to them.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
- Expertise in energy industry
- Experience in working with customer different stakeholders
- Experience planning and executing outages or repair activities
- Fluency in Arabic & English
- This role requires significant experience in the Project Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Masters degree from an accredited university.
- The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.
Desired Characteristics:
- Expertise in Gas Power Services business is preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Knowledge and experience within the power industry
- Familiarity with Contractual Service Agreements
- Knowledge of the Field Service Portal (FSP) systems
- Team leader in a dynamic energetic and proactive environment
