The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services from Advisory to Assurance Tax and Business our innovative hubs youll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. Youll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Software and Product Innovation team you develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Framework. As an Associate you support senior staff by engaging in research participating in project tasks and contributing to the design and implementation of solutions that address complex business problems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the development of Java microservices
- Assist in designing scalable software architectures
- Participate in testing and validation of software products
- Engage in troubleshooting and performance enhancement
- Contribute to the creation of technical documentation
- Support team initiatives and project deliverables
- Learn and implement new technologies and frameworks
- Uphold software development practices and standards
What You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 years of experience in software engineering
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Proven experience in Java Spring Boot Microservices
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JMS
- Understanding of financial applications especially payment/wires
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies
- Demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of containerized deployments
- Experience with message parsing in banking messages
- Knowledge in OPF
