Job Description
As a Business Analytics manager of the worldwide Registration & Verification team you will be responsible for driving insights into what makes sellers successful in the global ecosystem and partnering with the product team to launch features at verification to help sellers be successful.
The ideal analytics manager should have proven experience in business analysis and team management; should be able to work across teams and should be able to lead leadership reviews. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter comfortable working through ambiguity conceptualizing and leading complex initiatives from end to end has a good understanding of statistics BI tools and basic scripting. In addition to collaborating with many stakeholders internally and externally this role requires working through ambiguity demonstrating good judgment under pressure and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Key job responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of Registration and Verification teams data sources and know exactly how when and which data to use to solve particular business problems using SQL statistics scripting and Quicksight.
Design build and automate SQL reporting and dashboards and AI topics to scale and support business needs
Work with stakeholders to gather data and metrics requirements and drive analytics projects to help solve complex challenges.
Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically prioritizing when necessary.
Hire Train and develop a team of business analysts build mechanisms reduce dependencies build partnerships with partner teams and ensure seamless functioning of the team.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or related field
- 5 years of business analytics experience
- 3 years of delivering results managing a business analytics team
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
- Experience with application of basic statistics and scripting/Python.
- Exposure to cloud and AI tools.
- 3 Experience with Python Weka SAS Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
- 5 years of data warehouse technical architectures data modeling infrastructure components ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
- Experience in A/B Testing and Causal Inference.
- Experience in building ML models.
- Master of Business Administration Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/ Black Belt PMP/Prince Certified
