Medicine Hat High School
Temporary Cosmetology Teacher
From August 26 2025 to June 30 2026
A full-time temporary teacher is required at Medicine Hat High School to serve as a Cosmetology teacher. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a journeypersons certificate as this qualification significantly enhances the ability to deliver high-quality instruction in this skilled trade area. This educational team member should have an adaptive style that can create an inspirational creative and inclusive classroom climate as well as maintain a strong focus on all elements of the Optimal Learning Environment. A commitment to extra-curricular activities would also be an asset. This individual must value student learning and achievement and agree with the mission vision values and goals of the school and the school district.
Located in the Southwest Hill area Medicine Hat High School has a total student population of approximately 1300 students.
