Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university in communications or broadcasting or equivalent work experience in the area of audio/video production.
- Minimum of three years of experience in visual storytelling and communications public relations and/or marketing preferred.
- Proficient in DSLR and other video camera equipment.
- Proficient in video production software (but not limited to): Adobe Premiere Final Cut Pro Adobe After Effects Adobe Photoshop.
- Proficient in PC and Mac platforms.
- Animation experience preferred.
- Drone photography experience preferred.
- Experience in developing high-quality productions as well as polished voiceovers.
- Experience in concept and design development of recorded or live productions.
- Experience in the productionworkflow.
- A demo reel with samples of the above requirements is mandatory.
- Effective ability to work on multiple assignments meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality is essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication proofreading work ethic and organizational skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Annual Contract: 250 days
SALARY:
BA-3 $59028
Minimum Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2024-2025
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Produce and edit video for CFISD departments adhering to the mission and vision set by the district.
- Create animations in collaboration with existing video or graphic design projects.
- Adhere to and maintain consistent district branding while following programming guidelines.
- Assist in live Board meeting production including directing running graphics and audio.
- Upload and organize content on the district YouTube channel and assist with various social media campaigns on different platforms.
- Maintain an up-to-date archive of past productions.
- Perform cinematography lead gaffer and grip responsibilities during productions when necessary.
- Maintain archive of Board meeting streams and all district productions.
- Support legal services and other departments with video requirements as needed.
- Effectively prioritize analyze and problem-solve multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Maintain awareness of district policy and procedures and educational issues andtrends.
- Work flexible hours as needed to meet deliverabledeadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director of communication and assistant superintendent of communication & community relations.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
