Recruiter
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivatedTemporary Recruiterfor a 6-month assignment to support our Kansas City and Chillicothe Operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about recruitment and eager to make an impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in sourcing attracting and hiring hourly talent while also supporting job postings and employer branding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively source candidates through various channels including job boards social media and networking events.
- Manage job postings to ensure visibility and alignment with hiring needs.
- Promote DeLavals employer brand as a desirable place to work.
- Screen interview and recommend candidates for hourly and entry-level positions.
- Coordinate and administer pre-employment assessments and reference checks.
- Provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with HR and operations teams to understand staffing needs and timelines.
Facility Overviews
Kansas City Operation:
Our Kansas City facility includes a Warehouse Assembly area and Filters area. The Warehouse team manages inventory and logistics while the Assembly area builds robotic systems and other equipment for farmers. The Filters area produces essential dairy filters.
Chillicothe Operation:
This facility specializes in manufacturing rubber parts for dairy farmers worldwide using advanced robotic injection molding technology to ensure high quality and reliability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruitment preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and recruitment best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
