Job Description

Its a fun and exciting time to grow your career with ING and were on the hunt for a Team Leader Customer Care Team to join us on a 6-month secondment.

As a Team Leader youll be responsible for inspiring developing and maintaining a high-performance team within a dynamic and fast paced environment. Our team is based in both Sydney and Manila.

Our Customer Care team is responsible for the customer process management across customers advisers and internal teams to assist with the various tasks involved in the maintenance of the savings and Customer Care related processes.

Youll provide leadership coaching development support and advice to staff in conjunction with day-to-day management of the team.

This role is based in Sydney.


What youll do

  • Facilitate creation of development plans for all team members.
  • Cascade key department and organisational messages to team.
  • Build and maintain an energised high-performance culture within the team.
  • Management of team workflow through allocation of appropriate resources so that all client requests are actioned within agreed SLA and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor individual and team productivity (Contribution) levels within agreed benchmarks.
  • Represent the team/department on project working groups.
  • Actively self-identify risks in team/department and put in place appropriate remediation plans.

What were looking for

  • Previous experience leading or coaching team members in a senior role within operations.
  • A sound understanding of Customer Care operational processes.
  • The ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business and build effective relationships.
  • Excellent engagement skills and the ability to create a high-performance team culture.
