Job Description
Glenorchy City Council is seeking an Urban Services Multi-Skilled Labourer who is passionate about delivering quality and timely works for our community. If youre ready for a change and wanting to join a dedicated team of skilled professionals we want to hear from you!
What youll do:
The role of the Urban Services Multi-Skilled Labourer is to provide support and assist with vegetation control plant operation and maintenance works within the Municipality that meets with legislation industry standards and GCCs annual renewal and upgrade plans.
What were looking for:
Wed like to hear from you if you are a labourer or skilled worker with relevant experience take pride in your work are reliable and are keen to continue learning and developing your skills.
To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate and commitment to safety and have experience working in uneven terrain in all weather conditions. You will also have a good grasp urban service operations and demonstrated experience in; vegetation management operating the required tools and resources.
Position Hours:Full-Time 76 hours fortnight.
Essential Requirements:
- Medium Rigid Truck MR Class license
- White Card
- First Aid Certification
Desirable Requirements:
- Traffic Management Accreditation (RIIWHS205E Control traffic with a stop-slow bat and RIIWHS302E Implement traffic managements plans)
- Chainsaw Accreditation
